Cranberry Turkey Burgers
We found this recipe on the side of a can of cranberries and it is pretty good!
1 1/2 lb ground turkey
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup whole cranberry sauce
3 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1) Combine turkey, egg, bread crumbs and cranberry sauce in a large mixing bowl
2) Divide mixture into 6 portions and shape into patties.
3) Refrigerate for 30 min
4) Grill
5) Combine cream cheese and walnuts in a small mixing bowl
6) Top burgers with cream cheese mixture.
Oven Roasted Potatoes
2 tsp minced onion
3 Tbsp Italian Bread Crumbs
1 tsp North Woods Seasoning (this is a Penzey's mix, but anything kinda spicy will work - use a mix you like)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 lbs potatoes - cut into bit size chunks
1/3 cup olive oil
1) Preheat oven to 450
2) Mix ingredients in a plastic bag until evenly coated
3) Empty into shallow pan (may want to line it with aluminum foil)
4) Bake, stirring occasionally, 40 min or until potatoes are tender and golden brown.

a couple comments from my mom: she likes to put the extra cranberry sauce on the burgers for a garnish. Also the potatoes are an adaptation of something she found on the Lipton box.
